A lovely night

Thanks to the kindness of one of my students in accepting a last minute babysitting gig, we got to go out with Dave and Patty last night. They took us to a great place on the lake where we laughed and ate and even had a bunny visit us!

A day at the fair!

We love the state fair!  Kristin and I have gone very year since she was a baby and this year was no exception.  We each took a friend and had a ball...

There are fish in Mendota!

Today was Sarah's last day with Ben this summer, so that means the last day with the boys too.  So the boys and I decided to end this wonderful season with a fishing trip on lake Mendota, and here are the results!

If you are a fish lover don't worry...we practiced only catch and release today!

Little Norway!

Kristin and Aly took advantage f this beautiful day and visited one of the local sites...Little Norway.  Little Norway is one of those places that we tend to forget about since we live so close, but the girls enjoyed their visit and recorded it for the rest of us to enjoy too!

The gift that keeps on giving

One of the many benefits of having Sarah help with Ben this summer is that her boys often come over too!  Today they were on a mission to weed, mow and blow stuff around.  The whole family is wonderful...they offer Ben terrific care, and we love having them as a part of our lives!
