A lake adventure

Frank, Marley and I went out in the lake today. Our adventure included our horn alarm sounding for about 5 minutes straight, Marley jumping AND falling in, and our first trip through the lock!

I guess since the guest room downstairs got a remodel Frank thought the upstairs should too! So our bedroom and the new guest room/ office did too!

Frank's carpet guy came today and that allowed me to replace and revise the furniture a bit. Still left, the ceiling light and closet rod...otherwise all set! And just in time...Jocelyn moves in on Sunday! Yay!

A visit with Kristin!

Ben and I got up early today and drove to Milwaukee for a visit with Kristin. Kristin, Mike, Jennifer, Ben and I toured her lovely home, walked along the lakeshore and went for a great lunch!

Neighborhood cathedral

Marley and I discovered this peaceful spot today on our neighborhood walk. It is so serene and really inspires thoughts of God. We may visit here often :)

New home office!

Kristin has graciously encouraged me to get busy using her room, so it has now become a guest room/office. I love the new space to think and work! Paint, carpet and extras to follow...
